WELCOME TO THE BUENOS AIRES INDIE FILM FESTIVAL!

OUR MISSION IS TO SUPPORT TALENTED FILMMAKERS WORLDWIDE!

Welcome to the Buenos Aires Independent Film Festival. The Festival was born in June 2019 with the name of Buenos Aires Film Festival, and after 2 years of hiatus due to the covid, we are back with a new name but with the same passion and strength. We are an international collective of insiders with over 10 years of experience who love cinema and live every day in close contact with the seventh art. We are tireless workers who want to push your art out there for everyone to know your talent.

In the past editions, the BAIFF hosted, among others, “The Trader” by Tamta Gabrichidzeve, winner of the Sundance Film Festival and the Hot Docs Canadian International Film Festival; “Tight Spot” by Kevin Haefelin with the 1995 Academy Award nominated Didier Flamand; “The Field” by Sandhya Suri nominated for a BAFTA Award and “The Insufferable Groo” by Scott Christopherson starring Jack Black.

The Buenos Aires Indie Film Festival (BAIFF) is a bimonthly online film competition that allows filmmakers from all around the world to present their own works and be evaluated by a jury of professionals from the film industry.
